Davey plays:

Davey Lane is the lead guitarist for You Am I, joining the band at the age of 18 in 1999. In the 12 years since Davey has played on 6 albums (including one live album) and has toured extensively the world over with the band, in their own right as well as supporting rock legends The Rolling Stones and The Who.

Davey released two studio albums and a myriad of EP's and singles with his side project The Pictures between 2000 and 2009, a single in 2010 with punk/pop outfit The Scram, and is currently putting the finishing touches to his debut solo album, due for release in early 2012. In July 2011 Davey collaborated with hip-hop artist Phrase, featuring for the first time as a solo artist on the JJJ hit single "Apart".

In 2007 Davey toured Europe and Australia as a touring guitarist and keyboard player for Crowded House, since 2005 has played live and in the studio with Aussie rock icon Jimmy Barnes, and in addition, has toured and recorded with artists such as Evan Dando (The Lemonheads), Tim Rogers & The Temperance Union, Nic Cester (Jet), Jim Keays (The Master's Apprentices), and is currently lead guitarist for Charles Jenkins' group The Zhivagos.
