National Australia Brass will be performing for the only time this year at BMW Edge in Melbourne on the 7th July. Conducted by Professor David King, the ensemble will be performing the Australian premiere of Barry McKimm’s Cornet Concerto featuring soloist Paula Russell, and Dr. Brenton Broadstock’s Metal on Metal. National Australia Brass brings together the leading brass and percussion players around the country, including Yamaha Youth Brass Artist for 2012, 16 year old cornet player Dominic Longhurst. The concert is proudly supported by Yamaha Music Australia & Fine Music, Hawthorn.
