Born in Brisbane, Australia. Mitch pursued his passion for drums at age 10.He studied drums and percussion for 12 years at the Harry Lebler Academy in Brisbane.

Mitch's career spans over 28 years in the music business and his credits include both Australian and International Artists such as Tommy Emmanuel, Rick Price, Marcia Hines, Renee Geyer, Doug Parkinson, Doug Williams, Sharon O’Neill, Margaret Urlich, Grace Night, Daryl Braithwaite, Jack Jones, The Emmanuel Brothers, Richard Clapton, Jimmy Barnes, Glen Shorrock (LRB). Brian Cadd, Guy Sebastian and many more.

Current projects include playing for the Long Way to the Top tour with artists Doug Parkinson, Ian Moss, Marcia Hines, Glen Shorrack, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris to name a few.

Mitch also performed at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Closing Ceremony with Tommy and Phil Emmanuel. In addition to his live and recording credits, Mitch is a highly respected drum teacher - educator and clinician.
